What I like about Hario Naval Base. What I like about Hario Naval Base in Sasebo Japan is how every town house in Hario even though they are a little small is that...l. every townhouse has at least of family of 4 meaning kid's like me can play together with more people since the town houses or duplexes or how I like to call the quadplexes. The best thing about Hario is that it is spacious outside with a lot of parks for kids like me to go too. Another good thing with Hario is that the naval base is very close to huisten bosch meaning during summer Christmas and new years eve and new years there are fire works every one on the naval base can watch without having to walk or drive to huisten bosch to see the fire works. There are also a lot of sports they host but sometimes they get disorganized. But.... kid's here in Hario once become friends they get along a lot.

Hirado Castle is located 1 hour and 20 minutes away from Hario Village and 1 hour from main base Sasebo. There is a toll way as well as a non-toll way to get there. We took the non-toll way to get to Hirado. This castle is truely remarkable with a 360 degree view of the Hirado area on the top level of the castle. Admission to get in is only 510 yen and is definently worth it.
